Company was established in 2017 by owner and operator Brian Roodt.

The company was established to help clients get quality trophies at a reasonable price with a top class experience of Africa. The name, “Quality Hunting Safaris” was the name Brian chose to represent value and authenticity.

With QHS we pride ourself with top quality trophy hunts that is value for money, which sets us apart from the rest of the hunting industry in Africa. Not only do we focus on the quality of the trophies but also on the experience of the hunt, the friendship and the family bond you have after the hunt is over. It is a priceless memory and experience, as it should be!

We consider the entire family experience by also arranging photographic safaris or fishing safaris.

We do plains game hunts to hunting the dangerous 7 in Africa. We specialize in leopard hunts and is our main focus depending on the number of leopard tags available each year and how good the areas is.

    Welcome to Quality Hunting Safaris Namibia. By accessing our website and engaging in our hunting expeditions, you agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions.

    Please read these carefully before making any bookings or inquiries.

    1. Responsible Social Media Use

    Participants shall refrain from posting any photographs on social media platforms that depict blood or engage in unethical hunting practices. Additionally, clients are strictly prohibited from making negative comments or defamatory statements about Quality Hunting Safaris Namibia, its outfitters, or Professional Hunters. All concerns should be addressed through respectful communication, and if necessary, legal counsel may be appointed for conflict resolution.

    2. Conduct and Disruptive Behavior

    The owner of Quality Hunting Safaris Namibia reserves the right to address and take action concerning any disruptive behavior by a Hunter or Observer. Actions may include:
    • Termination of the hunt without a refund.
    • Immediate removal from the hunting area or group due to inappropriate conduct.
    Respectful behavior is expected from all participants at all times.

    3. Payment Policy & Passport Security

    • All payments must be settled in full before departing from Namibia.
    • Deposits are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in writing.
    • Participants are responsible for securing their passports and travel documents throughout the expedition. Quality Hunting Safaris Namibia will not be liable for any loss or misplacement.

    4. Cancellations & Refunds

    • Cancellations made 60 days or more before the safari will be eligible for a partial refund, minus the deposit.
    • Cancellations within 30 days of the expedition will not be eligible for a refund.
    • Refunds are not issued for early departure, misconduct, or failure to comply with these terms.

    5. Personal Property & Cash Handling

    • Participants are fully responsible for their personal belongings.
    • Large sums of cash should be counted and stored securely.
    • Quality Hunting Safaris Namibia is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property.

    6. Liability & Assumption of Risk

    By participating in any hunting safari, participants:
    • Acknowledge the inherent risks associated with hunting, including unpredictable wildlife behavior, rough terrain, and environmental conditions.
    • Agree that Quality Hunting Safaris Namibia and its affiliates are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or fatalities that may occur during the expedition.
    • Understand that all hunting is conducted at their own risk.

    7. Health & Travel Insurance

    • Participants must ensure they have comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for medical emergencies, evacuation, and trip cancellations.
    • Quality Hunting Safaris Namibia will not be responsible for any medical expenses or emergency evacuations.

    8. Firearms & Hunting Regulations

    • All participants must comply with Namibian firearm regulations and provide necessary permits.
    • Participants must demonstrate competency in firearm safety and handling.
    • Illegal or unethical hunting practices will result in immediate expulsion without a refund.

    9. Behavior, Alcohol Consumption & Safety

    • Excessive alcohol consumption that leads to unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.
    • Reckless actions, threats, or violence will result in immediate removal from the expedition.
    • Any illegal activity, including poaching, will result in legal consequences.

    10. Equipment Usage & Maintenance

    • Any hunting gear or equipment provided must be handled with care.
    • Participants will be held responsible for any damages caused due to negligence.

    11. Settlement of Expenses

    • Participants must settle all outstanding expenses before departing.
    • This includes additional services such as extra hunting days, ammunition, or any add-ons.

    12. Website Usage & Intellectual Property

    • All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Quality Hunting Safaris Namibia and may not be copied, distributed, or used without permission.
    • Users agree not to engage in any activities that could harm the website, such as hacking or unauthorized data collection.

    13. Privacy Policy

    • Client information is kept confidential and is used solely for booking purposes.
    • We do not share or sell any personal data to third parties.
    • By using this website, you consent to the collection of necessary information for booking and communication purposes.

    14. Force Majeure

    Quality Hunting Safaris Namibia shall not be liable for any delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
    • Natural disasters
    • Political instability
    • Travel restrictions
    • Pandemics or epidemics
    In such cases, rescheduling options may be discussed.

    15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

    • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Namibia.
    • Any disputes shall first be addressed through negotiation, and if unresolved, they may be referred to arbitration or legal proceedings within Namibia.

    Predator & Dangerous Game Hunting Terms & Conditions

    Hunting dangerous game requires a high level of skill, preparation, and adherence to strict safety regulations. Quality Hunting Safaris Namibia prioritizes ethical hunting, safety, and compliance with all applicable laws.

    By participating in a predator or dangerous game hunt, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

    1. Legal Compliance & Hunting Permits

    • All participants must comply with local and international hunting laws and regulations.
    • Hunting permits for dangerous game (e.g., lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, crocodile, hippo, etc.) must be obtained prior to the hunt.
    • Failure to comply with legal regulations may result in immediate termination of the hunt without a refund.
     

    2. Ethical Hunting Practices

    • We strictly adhere to ethical hunting principles. No baiting, spotlighting, or illegal hunting methods are permitted.
    • Hunting follows fair chase principles to ensure responsible and respectful pursuit of game.
    • Clients must respect local conservation efforts and avoid unnecessary suffering of animals.
     

    3. Firearm Safety & Proficiency

    • Clients must demonstrate firearm proficiency before engaging in a dangerous game hunt.
    • Participants must use appropriate calibers as per legal and ethical hunting requirements:
      • Buffalo & Elephant: Minimum .375 caliber
      • Lion & Leopard: .375 or .416 caliber recommended
      • Crocodile & Hippo: Heavy caliber rifles for deep penetration
    • If a participant lacks firearm experience, a professional hunting guide must assist in taking the shot when necessary.
     

    4. Safety Protocols & Risk Assumption

    • Dangerous game hunting is inherently risky. Clients acknowledge and accept all risks, including injury or fatal encounters with wildlife.
    • Following the Professional Hunter’s (PH) instructions is mandatory. Failure to comply may result in the termination of the hunt without a refund.
    • Medical emergencies & evacuation procedures will be in place, but all participants must have comprehensive medical and evacuation insurance.
     

    5. Wounded Game Policy

    • Any animal that is wounded must be tracked and dispatched as soon as possible.
    • A wounded animal that cannot be recovered is considered taken, and full payment will be required.
    • Shooting at non-target species is strictly prohibited and will result in financial penalties.
     

    6. Dangerous Game Fees & Payment Terms

    • All fees for predator and dangerous game hunting must be paid in full before the hunt begins.
    • Additional costs such as tracking, extra hunting days, and licensing fees must be settled before departure.
    • If an animal is not successfully hunted, trophy fees may be refunded according to the agreed terms in the hunting contract.
     

    7. Professional Hunter & Guide Authority

    • The Professional Hunter (PH) has full authority over the hunt and reserves the right to call off a hunt if safety concerns arise.
    • If a client’s behavior jeopardizes safety, the PH has the right to end the hunt without a refund.
    • Decisions made by the PH regarding shots, tracking, and overall conduct are final.
     

    8. Insurance & Liability Waiver

    • Clients must have comprehensive hunting and medical evacuation insurance before the safari.
    • Quality Hunting Safaris Namibia is not liable for:
      • Any injuries, deaths, or incidents during the hunt.
      • Lost or damaged firearms, gear, or personal belongings.
    • By participating, clients acknowledge they are fully responsible for their actions in the field.
     

    9. Alcohol & Hunting Restrictions

    • Alcohol consumption before or during the hunt is strictly prohibited.
    • The PH reserves the right to cancel the hunt for intoxicated clients, with no refunds issued.
     

    10. Cancellation & Refund Policy

    • Cancellations more than 60 days before the hunt: Partial refund minus the deposit.
    • Cancellations within 30 days: No refund.
    • No refunds for early departure, misconduct, or violation of hunting regulations.
     

    11. Trophy Export & Taxidermy

    • Export permits and documentation are required for all trophies.
    • Clients must ensure compliance with CITES regulations where applicable.
    • Taxidermy and export costs are the client’s responsibility.
     

    12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

    • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Namibia.
    • Any disputes must first be addressed through negotiation, and if unresolved, they may be referred to legal arbitration within Namibia.
